The Shoals Marine Laboratory crew is prepping for the new season! Each spring the Lab's "work-horse" Research Vessel John M. Kingsbury (named after Cornell prof and founder) carries supplies and equipment out to Appledore Island. The payload for this trip includes new solar panels and re-conditioned wind turbine blades, along with a more efficient reach-in cooler--all will enhance Appledore's green grid infrastructure.
