Place: First Presbyterian Church, 315 N Cayuga (use green door entrance on Court St.).

Come learn about how your faith community can take advantage of a program that provides a free energy audit performed by local firm, Taitem Engineering, for churches, non-profits and businesses, which can help you identify improvements for your building that can :

  • reduce your energy use
  • save money on energy bill
  • improve your comfort
  • reduce your carbon emissions

The audit program, which is sponsored by NYSERDA, New York State's Energy agency, and focuses on no-cost and low-cost measures you can easily implement, ends in December, so now is a great time to sign up.

Representatives from First Presbyterian Church Ithaca NY and Congregation Tikkun v'Or (Ithaca Reform Temple) will share their experiences with the program and making improvements.

Sara Culotta will speak about the energy audit program, and we will be treated to a tour of energy improvements done at the hosting church.

The free audit program ends in December, so now is a great time to sign up. (You can do so beforehand by contacting Florence Baveye at fbaveye@taitem.com.)
