Senior Community Educator for Energy Programs: Planning coordination and delivery energy efficiency and renewable energy educational programs and supervising staff doing the same. Examples of projects include 1) serving as a member of the Renewable New York team which promotes solarize-type campaigns and continue growth of solar PV after such campaigns in the Southern Tier and 2) giving leadership to do-it-yourself energy efficiency workshops and implement a related research component. Projects involve developing partnerships, networking with culturally diverse groups, developing and delivery of innovative programs, supervising staff and working with volunteers, and assisting supervisor in program management activities such as budgeting and reporting. Bachelor of Arts or Science degree and minimum of 3 year related experience. Full time. Minimum Salary $35,325 annually. Energy Educator: Program Educator II: Build awareness, knowledge and adoption of energy efficiency and solar energy, working closely with and being supervised by the Community Educator for Energy Programs. Communicate with project partners, assist in scheduling and hosting educational programs, conduct web and social media education and event promotion, build awareness of energy-related careers and train opportunities, and collect information for evaluation of program effectiveness. Works with project partners and network with community organizations and initiatives on energy issues. With the Community Educator recruit, train and supervise volunteers and interns. High school diploma and four years of related experience. OR Associates degree and two years of related experience. Full time. Minimum Salary $14.93/hour.
