The first ECO Dialogue is Wednesday, March 23rd from 4:30-5:45PM in 106G Olin Library, moderated by the Cornell President's Sustainable Campus Committee's (PSCC) very own Lesley Yorke (University Communications, PSCC Executive Committee member and Communications Committee Chair). The speakers include some of Cornell’s most exciting communicators:
Toby Ault: Assistant Professor in Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Past Present, and Future of Climate Change in Ithaca
Lauren Chambliss: Communications Director for the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future, Lecturer in the Department of Communication, PSCC Executive Committee member, Climate Change Communication, Tales from the field
Aaron Sachs: Assistant Professor in Department of History, Climate Change Comedy
Drew Margolin: Assistant Professor in Department of Communication, Does Public Opinion about Climate Change Matter?
After a 10-minute inspirational talk from each speaker, there will be a lively discussion on how various parties can better collaborate to communicate a relatively slow-moving catastrophe such as climate change. We believe your participation will greatly enrich the conversation!
Hold the date for the second ECO Dialogue, Putting the 'Action' into Climate Action, on April 13th from 4:30-5:45 in G10 Biotech. Please join in the discussions!
