Mother Nature Network compared the The Princeton Review’s Guide to 322 Green Colleges to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education's STARS gold-level sustainable schools to come up with a list of campuses doing some impressive things.Cornell has been featured as one of Mother Nature Network's "17 amazing green college campuses". Mother Nature Network identifies Cornell as the number one ranked Ivy League School in Sierra Club's "Cool Schools" and highlights a few of Cornell's sustainability achievements, including: a reduction in carbon emissions by 30% since 2008, a waste diversion rate of 64%, and over 400 sustainability related courses and over 40 clubs for students to get involved.
