American University's "Alternative Spring Break" focused on sustainable economic development, and its relationship to human rights, with a focus on natural gas and fracking.
Among their stops was Ithaca. They met with the KyotoNow! group and Cornell Professor Tony Ingraffea (a fracking expert). They also got tours of Cornell's Lake Source Cooling, Hydroelectric Plant and Combined Heat and Power Plant.
