Iscol Internships for a Sustainable Future -
2014 Applications Due March 1
The Atkinson Center, in partnership with the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), with support from Jill and Ken Iscol, provide three Cornell undergraduate students with a hands-on experience at the intersection of science and policy working with EDF in offices across the nation. These internships expose the students to the inner workings of one of the nation’s leading environmental advocacy groups and give them experience working on leading-edge sustainability issues in a vibrant workplace that combines "science, economics, and law to get results."
Cornell students (sophomores or juniors) can apply for one of three paid internships with the Environmental Defense Fund. These scientific internships work on an aspect of sustainability, and are located in Washington, DC, and San Francisco, CA:
- Agriculture Greenhouse Gas Markets
- US Climate and Air - Legal & Regulatory Advocacy Policy
- Research and Development Team, Oceans Program
Students do not need to be work/study eligible to apply for these internships. Applications should be submitted to the contacts listed in these profiles.
