Lecture on the intersections of faith, values and climate change

The semi-annual Beggs Lecture on Science, Spirituality and Society will feature climate change expert Katharine Hayhoe, associate professor in political science and director of the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University. She will discuss the intersections of faith, values and climate change, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m., Anabel Taylor Hall auditorium. Her talk, “A Climate for Change: Global Warming Facts for Faith-Based Decisions,” will untangle the complex science behind global warming and highlight the key role faith and values play in shaping people’s attitudes and actions on this topic.

A book-signing will follow.
